Dear Friend,
I want to personally invite you to the nineteenth annual Catholic charismatic conference in the diocese of Cleveland. These conferences are times of encountering Jesus Christ in the Person, power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Our main speakers, Fr. Tom Forrest, Luis Berdecia and Peter Herbeck, are of international repute and have proclaimed Jesus in many nations around the world. Also featured are Bishop Anthony Pilla for our opening liturgy, Sr. Margaret Mach of the diocesan evangelization office and yours truly.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that:
There are special graces called charisms after the Greek term used by St. Paul and meaning "favor"... sometime it is extraordinary, such as the gift of miracles or of tounges - charisms are oriented toward sanctifying grace and are intended for the common good of the Church. (2003)
Our conference is a time of experiencing Jesus Christ and the charisms of the Holy Spirit. Through these charisms the church is equipped to fulfill its mission of bringing Jesus, the light of the world, to the nations.
St. Paul, probably quoting an old farming proverb, stated, "Whatever someone sows, that is what he reaps" (Galatians 6:7). Sow some time with God at the Jesus, Light of the World conference. You will reap benefits that will bring you healing, encouragement and a new life.
Sincerely in Christ,
Rev.
